This is the public page for the private Shoals are women's group. Beyond the Women's March is a movement started in the Shoals by a group of people who stood in solidarity with the national Women's March in January 2017. Since then, the group has grown to nearly 400 local members and has been represented in panel discussions, local marches and demonstrations and has issued statements on various social issues. This page is the public face for the private group. Most activity takes place in the private group to help protect the members from social, political and professional backlash that can happen when standing up for the equal rights of all.
